In 1998 Fortress Investment Group was created by Randal Nardone, Robert Kauffman, and Wesley Edens. The investment and management company made its debut on the New York Stock exchange in 2007. He was a managing director at UBS from 1997 to 1998 . Before joining UBS he was a principle at BlackRock Investments. Prior to his venture into the financial and investment world, Randal Nardone was a partner at the law firm of Thacher, Proffitt, and Wood. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Boston.
